PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The D-R 300 Dust Concentration and Soot Meters by the DURAG Group are suitable for smoke spot number measurement in furnaces designed for light fuel oil. The D-R 300 monitor is installed directly at the flue gas flow and optically monitors flue gas turbidity on a continuous basis. The D-R 300 Dust Concentration and Soot Meter works according to the stray light method which makes them extraordinarily sensitive even to the lowest particle concentrations.

For the purpose of checking its orderly functioning, the meter performs a four hour periodical control cycle whereby the zero point, the soiling of optical boundary areas as well as a reference value are measured and indicated automatically. If necessary the subsequent measuring values are corrected and if the correction surpasses a certain value the system will generate an error signal.

The optics and electronics of the D-R 300 are all located in a hermetically sealed housing and maintenance is very user friendly due to optimal purge air guiding in front of the heated optical surfaces. There is direct access to all parameters by way of the control display and you are assured of peace of mind with the automatic system tests and correction of measuring values.
