PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Flash Point Process Analyser (FPA-4) by BARTEC BENKE is a continuously measuring analyser suited to measure the flash point of liquid phase. It correlates with laboratory measurements. The FPA-4 operates on-line. It serves to monitor/maintain product quality for the in-spec production of mineral oil products.

The flash point temperature is defined as the lowest temperature at which application of an ignition source causes the vapour of a specimen of the sample to ignite under specified conditions of test. The sample flow continuously through the measuring cell of the FPA-4 and it is heated to the FP temperature and controlled by the FP detector.

The special features of the FPA-4 are continuous measurement, multi-stream capability, integrated failure diagnosis and self monitoring. Communication interfaces available include Modbus/RTU, Modbus/TCP, Remote Access via Modem, ISDN, LAN and VPN.
