Freezing Point Process Analyser

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Freezing Point Process Analyser (FRP) by BARTEC BENKE is an analyser for the fully automatic determination of the freezing point of liquid, transparent mineral oil products. The FRP operates on-line and is capable of handling up to two separate streams and a validation input. It serves to monitor/maintain product quality for the in-spec production of aviation turbine fuels and aviation gasoline.
The product sample is cooled down under defined conditions and its turbidity is observed. As soon as the crystallization point is reached, the point at which solid hydrocarbon crystals are detected, the cooling down of the sample will be stopped. The freezing point of the product sample is the temperature at which the solid hydrocarbon crystals, formed on cooling, completely disappear when the temperature of the fuel is allowed to rise.
The complete analysis procedure is controlled, monitored and visualised by the PACS (Process Analyser Control System) software. It offers a user interface for local analyser operation. The cooling performance of the analyser is achieved by means of peltier elements that are fed with the coolant of a chiller, which is an integral part of the FRP.
