PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The TEOM 1405 Particulate Monitoring Series by Thermo Fisher Scientific is built on proven Tapered Element Oscillating Microbalance and Filter Dynamic Measurement System (FDMS) technologies. This line offers expanded capabilities that can measure PM-10, PM-2.5 and PM-Coarse with one instrument. This dramatically improves ease of use and a full spectrum of monitoring options.

The TEOM 1405 provide NIST traceable direct mass measurements which circumvents uncertainties inherent in surrogate techniques such as beta attenuation, light scattering and pressure drop. This instrument measures in continuous real-time and the systems default data output consists of a running 1-hour and 24-hour average mass concentration updated every 6 minutes. The monitor also computes FDMS base and reference mass concentrations over the same averaging times.

The TEOM 1405 series has the ability to measure PM-10, PM-2.5 and PM-Coarse individually and combined. The Filter Dynamic Measurement System (FDMS) adds the capability to account for volatiles for all three measurements. Operation is easier with the touch screen GUI interface quickly and intuitively accesses system status, TEOM data, settings and instrument conditions.

The TEOM 1405 series has flexible communication options of ePort, RPCOMM software for local and remote menu manipulation using Ethernet or serial ports, 4 user-definable analog input channels, 8 user-definable analog output channels and 2 USB ports for downloading historical data to portable USB drives.
