Our long and strong relationship with Thermo Fisher AQI allows us the luxury of providing our clients with the best of Continuous Particulate Monitoring and Sampling covering a variety of technologies including the TEOM series (Tepered Element Oscillating Microbalance), Beta Attenuation Monitors or BAM, Nephelometry and Manual Low Volume Particulate samplers such as the Partisol Series.
We monitor fractions from PM-1, PM-2.5, and PM-10 and up to TSP or Total Suspended Particulates. Depending on your requirements or specific application we have the instrumentation to suit. LSA is not limited or locked in to just the one method or technology hence our ability to offer a total and 100% solution utilizing the appropriate and most suitable instrumentation. Our instrument variety provides our clients with a choice and flexibility.
Particulate matter is by far the World’s most measured pollutant as there is a lot to be gained from such monitoring whether it is for EPA/Regulatory compliance, health effects study or dust suppression at roads and building constructions or at coal mines. The sampling allows a collection of dust on a filter for later analysis including lead
and ion analysis. Although many “particles are emitted directly into the atmosphere, other particles result from gases that are transformed into particles through physical and chemical processes in the atmosphere. A variety of emission sources and meteorological conditions contribute to ambient PM10”, as reported by California Air Resources Board.
LSA’s particulate matter monitoring instrumentation are extensively used in Australian monitoring networks including National Environment Protection Measures (NEPM) as well, by all Regional councils in New Zealand. We offer single fraction measurements or dichotomous providing data for PM-2.5, Coarse and PM-10 simultaneously. We provide measurements with and without VOC content.
